You can dress these up or go casual, they are very versatile. The material is linen like but not the cheap thin linen. Pockets are of course a plus!     Love these pants! Super impressed and I’m pretty picky. I ordered 3 pairs to try out for a beach trip I’m about to go on. I’m 5’4” ~135 and got size medium. I know a lot of reviews said they’re short, but they’re not short on me at all. They’re high waisted and have a nice smocked waist band that isn’t ugly. The fabric is light but is just heavy enough to sort of slowly slip down as you walk, if you’re between sizes. I could size down to a small pretty comfortably but I think they’ll shrink in the wash, like everything synthetic does. The fabric is not scratchy at all. The colors are very nice and accurate with the 3 pairs I ordered. I will be ordering more of these if they hold up on my trip. I love a wide leg casual trouser.
